So! Here we go:
Name: Boo. No relation to penname.
Sex: Female
Gender: Who knows?
Age: 19
What I Do: I write. A lot. Or, I wish I did. I didn't do much over the summer, but now that I have things that I want to procrastinate on, I'm going to write more. My journal entries are sometimes long, and I generally just talk in general about nothing in particular, or movies, or philosophy, or video games, or whatever. I'm currently in college, double majoring in Art and Philosophy, both of which I love. I would really really like to be able to support myself on my writing (or my comic making, another thing I would like to do if I actually did it) sometime in the future, and see the world, and all that jazz.
Religious Slant: I'm a secular humanist, deist division (if that makes any sense), but I'm so sympathetic towards religion that I could probably fool a lot of people.
Political Slant: Almost completely social liberal (but don't ask me about abortion), and sort of limited capitalistic thing. I guess I'm left social, and leaning over right economically.
So... yeah.
-OIO (<--even though I'm Boo, this is a habit)
Dice at the moment works in two worlds, Andra and the real world, but they are part of the same story.

Or something like that, at least.
Just for the later record, everything here is crossposted to my LJ account (which shall remain anonymous because... you can't access it. I'm quite sure of that).
To be honest, I feel a little guilty having got an invite code for merely being an outside observer who went "Ooh, shiny!" on the next pretty thing (though I'm no crazy about all the pink, Dreamwidth is rather attractive), where there might be people out there who had actually contributed ideas to building this thing who are, sadly, without invites and have to either wait for one or buy their own journal.
Maybe they'd pay anyway, because they want to support the community, greatly unlike me, who's just going to be writing miscellaneous shit down here that really has no bearing on the life, world, and everything.
So, anyways. About me.
Name: Boo
Who am I: I am currently a sort-of undecided Philosophy/Art double major at a small liberal arts college, freshman division. I am disorganized and creative, and I obsess over things at a dime, which isn't healthy. My social skills are subpar, and I jump to conclusions way too much. I am generally laid back, and I think there are people out there that would consider me a sort of tame sociopath.
Anything else: I enjoy writing, as shown by my recent disastrous attempt at Script Frenzy (I got up to a miraculous 23 pages). My NaNo records are a bit more commendable (70k last year, 250k this year), and I plan on writing enough to make my hands fall off once school gets out (in a couple weeks). I also play flute; this is my sixth year, and I still suck. I also enjoy learning new things, up to the point where I lose interest and go after something else. At the moment it's movies on the National Film Registry, political science, and ASL. I have no current favorite medium for my art, but my last art professor, Tony, was quite irritated once I told him that I wasn't majoring in art (it was only a minor back then; I'd changed my mind since), solely based on my watercolors. I enjoy charcoal and line drawings because they're both easy and fun, and both make it incredibly simple to impress people with your abilities.
Now, enough with the self-masturbatory text blocks of doom. I'm loving DW so far (in the five minutes since I registered my account), and I'm off to fold my laundry.
